What are the new security features?
The new online security features combine something you have, such as your registered computer, with something you know, such as a password and a personal security ID. The added security allows our members to know that they are accessing our website and not a fraudulent site, and it enables us to know that we are dealing with an authentic member. This new service works three fold. It protects our members, it protects your financial information, and we meet the FFIEC requirements. We know this is a big change but the extra effort will be worth it.

Why did my Bull's Eye Credit Union PC Branch login page change?
Your Bull's Eye Credit Union is committed to the safety of your financial information. The changes you are seeing on the login page are due to enhanced measures to secure your financial information when you use PC Branch.

What is Bull's Eye Credit Union "Secure" PC Branch?
"Secure" PC Branch provides added protection from fraud and identity theft by helping to ensure that only you have access to your account online. In addition to your password, we have included five extra layers of security - a Security Code, Security Questions, a Security Image, an optional Login Nickname and optional Computer Registration.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these changes please contact us.

Why do I need to use Bull's Eye Credit Union "Secure"PC Branch?
When you visit our branch, you know our faces and we know yours. "Secure" PC Branch does the same thing over the Internet. When you enroll in "Secure" PC Branch, you will provide personal information that will be difficult for potential fraudsters to find out. This information will be used to indentify you as to us.

What is the Security Code?
The Security Code protects your account from automated attacks using computer programs to guess account numbers. These programs are confused by the background image and cannot read the code.

The Security Code is a randomly generated series of "UPPER" case letters and numbers that you need to type in box below the image as shown in this example.

*
Tip: The Security Code changes everytime you login.*

What is my Security Image?
The Security Image is used to help you identify PC Branch-Online as a legitimate site for Bull's Eye Credit Union. The text you select will be converted to an image that will be displayed during login. When you see this image, you will know that you are using the real PC Branch-Online and not an imposter site.

*Tip: You must be 4 to 20 characters in length.*

What are the Security Questions used for?
When you enroll, you will be asked to enter five Security Questions and corresponding answers. If you are using a PC that you have not registered, you will be asked one of your Security Questions so that you can be properly authenticated.

*Tip: The answers to your Security Questions are case sensitive and cannot contain special characters like !$ or %.*

Why can't I use certain words like "drop" as part of my security Questions Answers?
There are certain words used by hackers to try to gain access to the systems and manipulate data; therefore, these words are restricted, "select," "delete," "update," "insert," "drop" and "null."

Why am I being asked a question when I try to login?
We ask you a Security Question when you are trying to login from an unregistered computer. This is to prevent someone with stolen passwords from logging into your account. Since only you know the answer to the questions, we will know it's really you.

*Tip: you may want to Register your personal computer to avoid this step.*

What does "Register This Computer" mean?
If you choose to register your computer, you will not be prompted to answer one of the Security Questions each time you login. You will only have to enter your Member Number, password and the random Security Code.
You can register your computer after you have completed the initial enrollment. When you register a computer, we assign a secure (encrypted) "cookie" to the computer. This cookie contains a randomly generated unique number that identifies your computer. The cookie is visible only to the credit union website and does not contain or store any personal or private information. When you login, your web browser sends us the cookie to verify that login is taking place from your computer.

*Tip: If you delete your cookie on your PC, you will have to re-register the computer.*

What does "Do Not Register This Computer" mean?
If you are using a public computer that is accessed by many users (at the library or school) we recommend that you do not register your account on the PC.

*Tip: We only recommend registering your personal computer at home or at work.*
